The Greene County Youth Athletic Association “Rambler Wrestling Club” is for boys and girls in kindergarten through sixth grade.
There are two sections, including an entry level for kids who have two and less years of experience and an intermediate level for youth who have two or more years of experience.
This program is designed to teach participants the proper skills at each level and improve on those skills to prepare them for the next level.
The wrestling season is from Nov. 7 through Feb. 22, 2024. Practices will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30 pm on the second level of the Scranton Community Center. Athletes will be provided with a singlet, but kids will need their own wrestling shoes and headgear. Parents will also get free admission to any GCYAA sponsored tournament or dual event.
The registration fee is $150, or $45 per month with payment plans and discounts for multiple participants in the same family or household. The registration deadline is Nov. 3.
